 Prayer  Ministry

  Welcome to the Prayer Ministry
One of the most important ministries in the Church doesn't require a  degree,  beautiful voice, or the ability to get up in front of crowds.  The only tools that are needed are a willing heart, a love for the Lord, and a few minutes set aside to serve every day.  Prayer is the lifeline for any Church and we're thrilled your  interested in joining our team. Below are listed several opportunities for all Church members to engage in prayer,  in addition to these I encourage you to sign up for the "Prayer Ministry" Email update!

Several Opportunities for you to get involved include:

Sunday Prayer
We meet each Sunday Morning at 9:00 am at the building to pray for the morning services, the unsaved, visitors,  as well as the working of God's spirit in his Church that day.

Forest Park prayer chain

Whenever a member of our Church family is in emergency need the prayer Chain is activated.  Prayer chain members commit to call their contact number after receiving the prayer request and spend five minutes or more in prayer for the affected person (s). Look for sign-up sheet at Church or E-mail one of the Staff HERE at and ask to be put on the list.

National Day of Prayer
The ministry prays for our families, governmental leaders, along with current pressing social, moral and spiritual issues facing our nation.

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
We know that families throughout the world are persecuted for their belief in Jesus Christ. Our goal is to keep the congregation informed and to call people to pray for the persecuted church.

Presidential Prayer Team

The apostle Paul challenges Christians in I Timothy 2:1-2 to " I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. We hope you will accept Gods challenge and pray that our leaders make Godly decisions.
