As Hurricane Ike made
landfall this September the storm brought
great destruction to the Galveston-Houston area, and all the coastal
areas in
east Texas and central and
western Louisiana.
Although many were prepared, the flooding that occurred to
our southern
neighbors appears to be worse than that which we experienced several
years ago
in Rita. As the flood waters receded we were able to return to the
affected
areas and determine the full nature of the destruction.

as we gain a better understanding of the
needs, to let you
know what we can do to
assist those who have been impacted by this disaster!
